As the company refocused towards refining the digital experience, I joined as the UX/UI Designer.

Matching the craftsmanship of the company product would be an exciting challenge.

The Problem/Hypothesis

 

Work Zone is uniquely positioned as a niche apparel wholesaler. The current website does not stand alone to guide clients from landing to conversion. This is partially due to the company business model which limits transactions to non-digital mediums (verbal).

The Question

The Goal

How can we design a more comprehensive digital experience?

 

Identify the parameters of the business model and design for user needs while adhering to business constraints.

 

The Research

I conducted stakeholder interviews as well as usability tests to gain an understanding of business and user needs respectively.

Key Insights:

  • Design a hybrid shopping cart experience that invites users to contact Work Zone for a quote.

  • Make the shopping experience more personable, interactive, and informative.

 
 
 

After testing multiple iterations, the website design experience was crafted.
